The Halo Group provides designs for unique themed corporate events. In 2015 we were commissioned by the Kellan Group to produce a Christmas party and conference event entitled "Reach The Summit". The project utilised many of our unique products and services.
Our brief was to manage the event and to create a range of bespoke props, backdrops and production features for the function as well as styling the venue itself. Our client wanted the event design to clearly communicate their event messaging.
To achieve the end result, we fabricated the props from polystyrene and other composite materials before hand finishing each piece using a range of scenic painting techniques. These included a miniature mountain range which guests were led over on arrival. This helped to create drama and reinforce the event message – “reach the summit”. Further set pieces included winter backdrops, bespoke signage, an ice bar, a vodka luge and fake snow spread throughout the venue as well as an alpine inspired set styled like a rustic wood cabin which we prefabricated and constructed onsite. Guests enjoyed a festive themed reception and a gourmet 3 course sit-down dinner. For entertainment the dance section of the party featured top London DJ Aaron Craig as well as a 5 piece live band.
