The Halo Group created a fun themed corporate event for Ochre House at Vinopolis at London Bridge for 400 guests. The event featured a conference session, multiple speeches, presentations, break out sessions, a drinks reception, 3 course gourmet dinner and an entertainment and dance party.
Our brief was to create a tongue in cheek prohibition theme. Our chosen venue was Vinopolis in London Bridge, a bare brickwork industrial style venue with an underground look and feel. The space suited the theme perfectly and even has a rich history in the wine industry, thus making it the perfect place to hold a prohibition speakeasy style event. Our client wanted to create an immersive experience so guests could really get into the spirit of the theme for the day.
To achieve the end result, our events team dressed and styled the space using a selection of props and production techniques. These included a giant safe door through which guests entered the space through, oversized 1920s props, prohibition style back drops, vintage style bar units and even a 1920s car replica, which provided the perfect photo backdrop for guests at the event. The night was hosted by themed actors, helping tie the proceedings together. We also provided musical entertainment, roaming performers, staging and audio visual services on the day. The event was coordinated by our in-house team. For more information on any of our event services, call our offices on 0207 870 3210.
