Vita Coco

Festival Production

The Halo Group specialises in festival production. During the summer of 2017, Vita Coco brought their Coconut Grove to the Big Feastival on Alex James’ Farm in the Cotswolds. The Halo Group worked with Vita Coco to create this exciting and fun brand activation at the event.

As well as showcasing Vita Coco's Coconut Water, the Grove brought to life their Organic Coconut Oil and newly launched Coconut Milk. The Halo Group created a beautiful tropical oasis overflowing with palms and flowers so that festival goers could unwind and taste the delights of the food and drink on offer. All the food was cooked using Vita Coconut Oil and special guest Selasi Gbormittah from the BBC’s Great British Bake Off created something really special for the foodie festival goers to taste from the Coconut Grove BBQ Shack.

The Brief

As the lead festival production team on this project, The Halo Group was tasked with designing and building the activation. The client has a strong identity and our brief was clear. Taking the lead from their branding, our client’s vision was the creation of a tropical oasis set in the middle of the festival.

The Solution

To achieve the end result, The Halo group built a rustic wooden structure to house the bar. Using a range of scenic techniques, we created an aged / weathered effect to get a tropical beach bar look and feel. The structure was complimented by a series of bespoke logos and way finder and menu signage boards. Lazy Boy bean bags, hammocks & wooden benches were provided for guests’ comfort, housed under a large sand coloured stretch tent. Festoon lighting, florals and foliage were used throughout the design and helped give the activation a distinct festival vibe.
