The Halo Group enhanced a standard festival marquee for ITV during an experiential activation by the Broadcaster at The Radio Times Festival. This exciting new partnership with the ITV events team has paved the way for many more projects in the coming months after receiving a positive response from the public at the event and providing robust ROI for the client.
Our brief was to create a highly impactful design to enhance a standard 10mx10m clear span marquee, which was provided by the client. The marquee needed to be transformed into a branded experiential activation and fitted out with a high specification of tech to showcase their promotional material.
The Halo Group fabricated a large fascia to give the activation a strong branded aesthetic using marine ply, which was then covered in a vinyl wrap. The Halo Group’s bespoke fabrication team created a large ITV logo, which was fixed above the entrance as well as an 8m free standing ITV logo, which was placed to the side of the marquee in a prominent place. The interior featured a Perspex booth which served as a viewing pod with coloured LED lights helping create ambience within the space. The tech spec featured 30 ipads, a large 10K Full HD rear projected screen, a 60inch LED TV and a first class PA system for any relevant audio on screen. A bespoke software platform was created for the client to provide consumers with a fully branded, interactive platform to enjoy the Broadcaster’s content via the touch screens. Our festival marquee design hit all the right notes at the event and was a huge success.
