Events Companies London: The Halo Group provided Ticketmaster with conference organisation and event production services for their International Summit in 2016 which marked an incredible 40 Years of Ticketmaster.
The event featured a main conference segment on each day where the keynote speaker was Ticketmaster founder Albert Leffler plus multiple breakout sessions with other speakers and esteemed guests. A product lab was incorporated into the event design to showcase Ticketmaster’s newest apps, RFID technology and data science expertise. A separate space entitled “Ticketweb Studios” featured four exciting up and coming live acts, namely Daniel Bettridge, Horse Beach, Super Glue & Elle Exxe all of whom performed on the client day to the crowd’s delight.
As the event was celebrating 40 years of Ticketmaster, to tie in with the theme, the musical programming during the evening also celebrated 40 years of punk with headline act The Damned who were the first punk rock band from the United Kingdom to release a single, “New Rose” (1976),release an album, “Damned Damned Damned” (1977), and tour the United States. The Halo Group, working with our specialist suppliers and event partners installed the staging, AV, sound, lighting, branding, print and production at the event, including a 3.5mx3.5m bespoke reception desk, a bespoke stage backdrop and a range of other specialist installations throughout the venue. Guests were treated to street food during the day courtesy of Tobacco Dock’s caterers and a standing drinks and bowl food reception during the evening.
