Formula-e say: “The Allianz E-Village is Formula E’s dedicated fan festival devoted to exploring the racing series, experiencing the latest innovations and enjoying some of the best entertainment alongside all the racing action…..At every round of the Championship is the E-Race – a virtual competition…where drivers battle against the fans on simulators, that replicate all the action on-track”
Our specialist area of expertise is the design and build of a wide variety of event structure based products and services. It is this expertise which successfully enabled us to win a competitive four-way tender process to deliver the Gaming Arena event structure. The key to our success lies in our unique temporary event structure build system. The system has been developed by The Halo Group over a number of years and underwent a significant innovative R&D process as part of the tender which was designed to create solutions to enable quicker assembly times within a tight schedule. With only 5 days allocated for construction at each site, we needed to engineer a range of new build components to enable the erection of the frame, incorporation of the walling system, weatherproofing treatments, the application of a fully branded finish and of course the integration of the gaming hardware, AV equipment and lighting within the five-day limit. The success of theis development program has resulted in a range of revolutionary new event structure products being brought to the market, which the Formula E Gaming Arena was the first to feature.
