The Halo Group provides event services to a broad portfolio of clients. We designed a float for InterMediaUK at Pride in London, which featured at the 2016 event.
The brief required a specialist design which utilised The Halo Group’s steel build system to create a skeletal frame which sat on top of a flatbed truck to create height whilst maintaining usable space underneath. The Halo Group’s system is modular and can be built to almost any linear configuration, size or dimension. The build system is ideal for creating a wide range of temporary structures and is used at festivals, on brand experiential campaigns and live events for a broad range of different purposes. For Pride in London, The Halo Group’s steel system was used to provide the physical solution that was required to realise the float’s design.
Once erected, the steel frame was clad and InterMediaUK branding was applied using 3D lettering. The sides of the truck were boxed in to hide the wheels and were then finished using more 3D lettering and 3D creative detail in all the colours of the rainbow. In a continuation of the theme, a bespoke ribbon installation was incorporated into the design which ran across the top of the vehicle bringing a flamboyant touch to the float’s design. To complete the look, The Halo Group and their specialist partners encased the truck’s front cab in a multi-coloured rainbow vinyl wrap. A 3mx2m LED screen was fitted on the rear of the float which played branded content and VTs throughout the event. For more information on our event services, call 0207 870 3210.
