The Halo Group recently completed a DJ booth design and commercial interior design project in Ibiza for Ocean Beach Club as part of the venue's restyling drive. The White Isle provided the perfect backdrop for this highly creative bespoke project in the summer of 2016.
Our brief was to provide a solution so that branding & styling at the Ocean Beach Club could be quickly and easily changed when each promoter staged their take over at the venue. Our client wanted us to create assets that were reusable, easy to assemble and of course on brand for each promoter. Part of the brief was to style the venue itself with features that would remain in situ permanently with other elements such as the bespoke DJ booth design elements, signage and props being interchangeable.
To achieve the end result, we prefabricated many of the individual components in our London workshop using our specialist team of set builders, scenic painters, carpenters and prop makers. These were then reassembled onsite by our installation team. A range of different materials and techniques were used and applied to create striking set pieces onsite complete with intricate stencil designs, iridescent paint and lacquer, dichroic film and a range of metallic finishes. 3D props and lettering were created using perspex, di-bond, CNC cut panels and a range of other composite moulds to help achieve the end result. Once installed, the venue was styled using a rich selection of faux foliage and floral detail to introduce an organic look and feel in keeping with the idyllic surroundings.
